- Beautiful XL Delft "Virginia" tobacco jar in classic blue coloration with a cream background and brass lid
- These have been made by hand just for Affordably Chic Art by Royal Goedewaagen, with whom I have partnered since the fall of 2020.
- These authentic Delft jars are READY TO SHIP!
- Comes complete with the brass lid, authenticity paper and branded box.
- Measures approx. 14" tall from base to tip of the knob on the lid
- The bottom is marked "Original Delft Royal Goedewaagen Made in Holland 200/1"
- Brand new and handmade especially for Affordably Chic Art with no chips or cracks; shiny brass lid.
- PLEASE NOTE: These are handmade! A stray blue dot of paint, tiny dots or pits, light ceramic ridge lines, light oxidation highs/lows to the lid brass, etc, are all part of the handmade nature of these beautiful heirlooms and are NOT considered flaws.
- Delft tobacco jars are based on an 18th-century original in the collection at Colonial Williamsburg. The antique jar, which bears the name “Carolina”, was reproduced with the same inscription, and adapted with the names of states known to have grown or exported tobacco in the 18th century.
