Regular price $210.00 Sale price $185.00 Save $25.00- This antique transferware platter was made by W.R. & Co. (Wood & Ridgway & Company), a Staffordshire pottery active in the mid-19th century. The Marmora pattern showcases beautifully detailed waterscape scenes with boats and classical Victorian landscapes, printed using the crisp transfer techniques the firm was known for.
- Produced circa 1840–1860, this piece is a fine example of early English ceramics and classic blue transferware design. A desirable collectible for lovers of Staffordshire pottery, Victorian décor, and 19th-century transferware.
- Approx. 16.5” x 13.5”
- Marked "W.R. & Co Marmora"
- In very good antique condition with light wear commensurate with age including light knife marks. The color is crisp, this is a beautiful piece in excellent condition for its age!
