A beautiful large antique John Alcock "Acassia" platter dating to the mid-19th century, circa 1850s. This elegant Staffordshire transferware piece features a richly detailed botanical landscape design with a pagoda.
John Alcock & Co. operated in Burslem, Staffordshire, England, from the mid-1800s and was known for producing high-quality earthenware, including transfer-printed tablewares admired for their intricate patterns and durable construction.
